The time has finally come and we are setting off on this great adventure!
But first, we sprayed our pants, socks, shoes and boots with permethrin hoping to ward off any ticks, midges, mosquitos and any other pesky critters.
Yes, my walking sticks will fit but it’s close!
Getting organized.
It’s all in and under the weight limit by 1.6 lbs.
And Jo Anne is successful too! Although, she unpacked and re-packed several times from what I hear.
First thing this morning, I went for a walk with two of my spiritual sister sojourners (miss you Kody!)
Looks like Jo Anne is already taking food pics 🤣
At the Lubbock airport. Flight was delayed but she still got to Dallas with minutes to spare.
At DFW.
Loading the food on the plane (gluten-free for me). It’s a much bigger plane than it looks like in the pic.
And finally together, getting ready to board.
The weather forecast looks fantastic! Hope it holds. Next post will be from St. Bees, Cumbria, England.

Praying for safety, health, and a fabulous time for you both!
ReplyDeletePraying you safely there and many blessings each day.
